So Exactly How Much Money Has Rhode Island Housing Received from State Taxpayers Over the Last Four Fiscal Years?

Further to Justin’s post which was further to W. Zachary Malinowski’s very good expose in today’s Providence Journal, the Vendor Payments module of the RI Center for Freedom & Prosperity’s website indicates that Rhode Island Housing received $39,966,512 from Rhode Island taxpayers from FY 2010 to FY2013 inclusive. Broken down by year:

2013: $51,829

2012: $5,978,691

2011: $28,346,537

2010: $5,589,455

We learn also from the website that $20+ million of the amount paid in FY2011 went to “Agency Bonds”. Click here to visit Rhode Island Housing’s website.

RI Center for Freedom & Prosperity’s website offers data on State Payroll, State Pensions, Municipal Pensions and Vendor Payments. It’s a handy-dandy tool whenever news is broken about the potential mishandling of – or possible outright shenanigans involving – state government dollars.
