A New Popularity for Unaccountable Agencies

    First, anyone who believes that someone who makes it to the top of the heap in the military is not a “political animal” is just dead wrong. Ask the “old colonel” why he retired.

    As for “unaccountable agencies”, it is quite clear in the law that the Congress is supposed to be “in charge”, or the President in the “executive branch”,. They love to blow it off with “these agencies get so big we can’t control them”. Hey fellas, that is what you were elected to do. Gingrich had an excellent idea, several afternoons a month were to be dedicated to rectifying crazy regulations produced by the various agencies. He had a name for this, but I have forgotten it.
