Busting Pot Lucks… When Government Has Too Much Money and Responsibility

When the nanny state has gotten to this point, can anybody seriously argue things haven’t gotten out of control?

According to Fox 40, someone in the Facebook group offered to buy a plate of Ruelas’s signature ceviche, a Mexican seafood fish. That person was an undercover cop carrying out a sting: twelve potluck participants were arrested for selling food without a permit.

A sting.  To bust a small Facebook group trafficking in recipes and illegal home-cooked meals.  As Instapundit Glenn Reynolds frequently deadpans: Tar. Feathers.
