Center Hosts Fourth Annual Shotguns & Cigars Fundraiser At Addieville

On Friday, the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity hosted one of our signature events— our fourth annual Shotguns & Cigars fundraiser was a huge success. The day features outdoor fun, camaraderie, cigars, bourbon and wine, and a juicy steak all at Addieville East Farm. Teams of four enjoyed practicing our shotgun skills with sporting clays. We, once again, proved that our Second Amendment rights can be used responsibly.

Here are some images from this incredible day. Please e-mail Info@RIFreedom.org to inquire about joining us next year.

Weapons? Tobacco?? Having fun??? BEEF????? This is terrible … just terrible. (Wait, no, it’s not. I attended; it was great.)

  • ShannonEntropy

This was def the highlight event of Deplorables Pride Month wherein we celebrate our version of LGBT: Liquor, Guns, Beef & Tobacco
… not necessarily in that order

Thanks for a great day, Mike !!

What could go wrong with bourbon and shotgun blasts?

    • ShannonEntropy

As I said: …… not necessarily in that order

I won’t handle any firearm even if I own it and even if I know it is unloaded, if I’ve consumed any intoxicants

Also you may have noted that the Cheney Incident happened when the party was HUNTING quail… and Cheney violated a Prime Rule of Bird Hunting:

NEVER pull the trigger unless you can see blue-or-otherwise sky behind your target

We were SKEET SHOOTING with certified Safety Instructors right there to make sure nobody ‘accidentally’ shot a Liberal lawyer wandering by

So bagi… if you have never fired a Remington 12 gauge over/under double-barreled break-action semiautomatic shotgun at a flying clay target and want to a hundred times or so over stations spread over a gorgeous thousand acre property in Mapleville RI , let me know and you can be my guest

      • Rhett Hardwick

        “Remington 12 gauge over/under double-barreled break-action semiautomatic shotgun ”
Double barreled, Semiautomatic? Do you mean the ejectors?

        • ShannonEntropy

No…. over/under double barrel; one trigger; pull the trigger twice to discharge both shells

…. but it does have ejectors as most modern shotguns do. I have never even seen an extractor

          • Rhett Hardwick

My bad, haven’t even thought about the term in years. My Fox Sterlingworth isn’t modern, two triggers. Extractor is the term for the “catch” on a rifle, or pistol, bolt that extracts the cartridge casing after firing.

You and Shannon should get a room so you two can delve into extractors and ejectors in private
