A Great Year for Worker Freedom – Help Spread the Word

This year was a GREAT year for worker freedom across the country, and here in the Ocean State. Early in the summer, the SCOTUS decision in the historic Janus case determined that state and local governments are forbidden from forcing their employees to join unions as a condition of employment. The ruling means union leaders can no longer automatically plunder the pocketbooks of public employees to fund the unions’ political agendas.
In August, we launched our MyPayMySayRI.com campaign to educate public servants about their restored First Amendment rights.
But the insiders want to keep workers in the dark, and in the unions… at any cost. Predictably, our campaign drew immediate and dishonest public attacks from both the Governor and the Attorney General that were full of misinformation.

That’s why we’ve launched our #GivingTuesday campaign, where you have the chance to help us provide factual information to government workers.

Here’s how you can help: For every $50 you give, we can send a mailer to about 60 public employees with honest information about their rights to pay – or not to pay – their union.
For only $50, perhaps 10-15 of such hardworking teachers or first-responders may choose to keep for their own family $750/yr or so of their hard-earned income.
To meet our goal of reaching 6000 workers, we need to raise $5,000 on Giving Tuesday! Your partnership is vital to ensure public employees are free to make their own choices when it comes to public-sector unions.
Will you give on Giving Tuesday (or today!) to help us reach our $5,000 goal Your gift of $5, $10, $25, $50 or $100 will go a long way. Every dollar helps us reach more people, and makes a big difference for our state.
