Last Impressions #51: Rebels Needed

justinacrossamerica-featured

Governor Raimondo and her merry band of magic Appointees focus on the true danger in Rhode Island — not roudy rioters carrying signs that threaten to burn down the country, but college kids who aren’t voluntarily living as if in an open-air prison.

Not that we are questioning the denial of your fixation with the Governor, but this is your third (“periodic”) post of the week that features her.

BTW, remember the time when you cried about someone posting an altered photo of you?

  • Rhett Hardwick

While out on my early morning errands, I found myself behind a pickup with a bumper sticker reading “Stomp on my flag, I’ll stomp on your ass”. I am becoming concerned about this free floating anger looking for a target.

    • Lou

Agreed, it’s because they have been conditioned to be angry. Anger is a core factor in Fox programming. Just watch it. Viewers are constantly stoked into anger at liberals, blacks, the poor, etc. (In Justin’s case, government) I would go so far as to say that anger and outrage are the goal of right wing media.

      • Rhett Hardwick

Can’t agree. Conservative anger seems more along the lines of “we’ve had enough”. You don’t see them burning and pillaging. Recall when the Tea party had 25,000 people rallies. they brought trash bags and picked up after themselves.

        • Lou

The tea party was all about anger, then it coincidentally disappeared after Obama was re-elected (wonder why?). If you think extremists shooting protesters like Shannon’s hero in Kenosha is morally better than demonstrating, we can agree to disagree.

          • Rhett Hardwick

Yes, it was about anger, but you are avoiding the question. How much destruction can you recall?

          • Lou

Why are you changing the topic to destruction? All I commented on was anger, and it appears you agree.

What question are you accusing me of “avoiding”?

          • Rhett Hardwick

If you are interested in government, anger and evil, I commend “The Wannsee Conference”. the English language version is probably the best. The 10 year older German language version (subtitled) is good, but not the better. An excellent study in the banality of evil.
