If we get a copy a pocket Constitution we now quality as a self-proclaimed “patriot”?

    • Rhett Hardwick

Might be a start in the right direction. Do you recall the 4th of July Parade in Bristol, about 15 years ago. The town fathers tried to have a man arrested for passing out copies of the Declaration of Independence. Much to their credit, the police refused to arrest him.

      • Lou

Maybe he was littering. Is there a point in your recollection?

I would feel much better if those that wave around their pocket Constitution actually spent that time reading it.

        • Rhett Hardwick

I would also approve of people reading it. For instance, they would find nothing permitting shutting the economy in order to counter a pandemic.

Your boy controls the executive branch and the Senate, why can’t he open it up?

          • Rhett Hardwick

If you think that is how it works, it is time for you to read the “pocket Constitution” you reference above. A hint, “sates rights”, and “police powers”.

          • Lou

So what’s your issue? If the states have the right to totally open up and have chosen not to, who needs to read the Constitution?
