Rhett Hardwick Might be a start in the right direction. Do you recall the 4th of July Parade in Bristol, about 15 years ago. The town fathers tried to have a man arrested for passing out copies of the Declaration of Independence. Much to their credit, the police refused to arrest him. Lou Maybe he was littering. Is there a point in your recollection? I would feel much better if those that wave around their pocket Constitution actually spent that time reading it. Rhett Hardwick I would also approve of people reading it. For instance, they would find nothing permitting shutting the economy in order to counter a pandemic. Lou Your boy controls the executive branch and the Senate, why can’t he open it up? Rhett Hardwick If you think that is how it works, it is time for you to read the “pocket Constitution” you reference above. A hint, “sates rights”, and “police powers”. Lou So what’s your issue? If the states have the right to totally open up and have chosen not to, who needs to read the Constitution?
