Tell Governor McKee To Veto Rhode Island’s Version Of The Green New Deal!

There has been massive response to the Center’s action campaign, so far, opposing far-left Green schemes that will limit your energy choices. We’re quickly approaching our next goal of 20,000 emails sent… yet, insiders at the State House chose to ignore the will of the people and passed Rhode Island’s version of the Green New Deal over all the objections. It is not over: Click here now to tell Gov. McKee to VETO RI’s Green New Deal and legislators to sustain his veto.

These bills, H5445 and S0078, would transfer power to unaccountable bureaucrats, energy prices would go up on families and businesses, and the people of Rhode Island would lose the freedom to make our own energy choices. This would be a betrayal of our democratic and representative form of government.

Take action now to oppose RI’s Green New Deal: Click here now to use our new action tool to say that this costly legislation must be vetoed.

There is no better opportunity for Gov. McKee to live up to his promises as an advocate for the small business community and to take decisive action to relieve businesses of excessive green mandates and to ensure our state’s long-term viability.

The simple form, once completed, will automatically send an email to the Governor telling him to VETO Rhode Island’s version of the Green New Deal and to state legislators telling them to sustain the governor’s veto. If you already previously acted, don’t worry – this is a new version calling for the veto. Please, do it again.
