Bob Chiaradio Serves Letter Of Preservation & Spoliation To Westerly, RI School Committee – Re: Porn In School Libraries

On 2-16-22, Bob Chiaradio served the Westerly, Rhode Island School committee with a legal Letter of Preservation & Prevention of Spoliation. The papers served specify all records, digital, tangible or materials held, must be preserved and the spoliation (destruction) of materials is a violation with legal consequences. The intent of the letter is for potential litigation and or criminal charges.

He has constantly asked the school committee to remove pornographic materials from the school libraries. The materials cited, books called Gender Queer, Fun Home and Beyond Magenta, are available to students. Children are being subjected and allowed to have pornographic materials in the school library that are not age appropriate.
