Megan Reilly, a frequent guest  on The Current’s popular video podcast, In The Dugout with Mike Stenhouse … has joined with other concerned parents and citizens to offer Ocean State families a wholesome alternative to the increasingly divisive and ineffective public schools in our state.

In recent years, for a variety of reasons, many parents are seeking to home-school or send their children to private schools. Demand for alternative schooling options is soaring.

In seeking to fill some of this demand, the new Catholic school is planned to open in the fall of 2023 and will be part of the national Chesterton Academy network of schools. Initially, the RI Chesterfield Academy will serve high school students.

The Academy is kicking off its capital fundraising campaign with a private reception later this month.
