“Sisters In Arms – a Firearm Story” Partners with The Current

Video Podcast with a Women’s Perspective on Self-Defense Rights to be a featured broadcast offering

Cranston, RI — The Ocean State Current announced today that it has added the “Sisters In Arms – A Firearm Story” video podcast to its lineup of regularly scheduled content.

The first co-branded episode will be broadcast on The Current’s LIVE channel this Thursday, June 15, at 5:15 PM at OceanStateCurrent.com/Live. A regular broadcast schedule has not yet been finalized for the Sisters In Arms show.

Hosted by Rene Gagne and Kerrie Ann Auclair, the Sisters In Arms – a Firearm Story podcast is a pro-Second Amendment show with frequent guests and a national audience reach. From a women’s perspective, the podcast promotes safe and responsible firearms ownership, focusing on instruction while defending the right to self-defense against gun-control legislation.

“We are excited to join forces with Mike Stenhouse and The Current,” said Gagne and Auclair. “We look forward to providing 2nd-Amendment education and awareness to as many communities as possible. We believe education is the key to firearms safety.”

Gagne and Auclair are chapter leaders, respectively in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, for the national DC Project, a nationwide and nonpartisan organization of women committed to safeguarding the Second Amendment.

The Current is happy to incorporate Sisters In Arms – A Firearm Story into syndication as a broadcast partner. “We are very pleased to bring Rene and Kerrie Ann’s show into our mix. In addition to our traditional news and views posts, The Ocean State Current plans to significantly increase our video and audio content over the next few months by adding more quality live and on-demand offerings,” added Mike Stenhouse, The Current’s publisher and host of his own In The Dugout video podcast.

Sisters in Arms joins a recently expanded list of content providers, including video offerings from Providence Lyceum and Tuesday’s with Tanya, and audio podcasts by Red Tide Radio.
