Citizens for Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness, a new pro-life group, will be holding a rally on Tuesday, February 26th at the Rhode Island State House from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The rally will feature  pro-life speakers in opposition to Progressive legislation removing restrictions on abortion in the Ocean State. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the rally named the “Pro-Life Day of Action.”

Citizens for Life has dominated the new cycle in recent weeks after releasing a poll showing 74% of Rhode Islanders are against abortions up until birth. The poll was conducted by Cygnal, which was recently cited by the New York Times as the most accurate pollster in the country.

Bishop Tobin showed his support for the pro-life cause by retweeting a tweet promoting the rally from one of the day’s organizers.
