Brief Filed in RI Supreme Court in Jane Doe “Suicide Transgender” Lawsuit

The Ocean State Current has obtained a copy of the RI Supreme Court Brief filed last Friday (1/16/26) on behalf of the aggrieved West Warwick mother, Jane Doe, in her lawsuit against the RI Department of Education (RIDE).

Doe’s daughter was secretly assisted in her desired transition to a boy by school officials, in accordance with RIDE regulations, and two years later would attempt to commit suicide in front her mother and sibling.

Doe’s lawsuit, handled by prominent RI attorney Gregory Piccirilli, and which seeks to rescind the RIDE regulation, will soon be heard in the state’s highest appeals court, after a Superior Court judge ruled against the plaintiff.
