Blue wave hangover? On #InTheDugout, Sten and Justin Katz expose how progressives are quietly pushing their “community ownership” agenda that erodes property rights and capitalism itself. Is Marxism coming or is it here?

The Left’s assault on Ocean State families continues. After a blue wave swept across many states last night, driven by the myth that progressive and socialist policies are in the best interests of the people, it is clear that our cherished constitutional and property rights are now at risk of falling into a Marxist hell. On this Wuhan Wednesday, Sten welcomes Justin Katz, editor of Anchor Rising and Rhode Island’s first-ever conservative blogger more than 25 years ago. Before we get to Rhode Island’s egregious, if not unconstitutional, assault on property rights, we ask a larger question: as we approach America’s 250th birthday, where are we heading as a nation?

Sten and Katz break down the elections and what the results say about the direction of the country. Pocketbook concerns battled cultural issues, and the blame of TDS seems to have worked. Government shutdown chaos, too much focus on foreign affairs while Americans struggle at home, and even Jay Jones winning Virginia Attorney General have left many wondering what comes next. Can GOP candidates win without Trump’s coattails? Voter dissatisfaction with 47 and Republicans in Congress is boiling over. Today’s message to the GOP seems clear: get your sh!t together fast and start doing stuff. The American people are fed up with politics and excuses. They want action.

Then, Sten and Katz turn to Rhode Island’s government assault on property rights. Lawmakers have enacted a suite of bills pushing the state toward so-called “community” ownership—code for Communism—reducing property rights, lowering property values, and weakening the foundation of capitalism and opportunity. Is this a harbinger of what’s coming next for the Providence mayoral race and even the 2026 mid-terms? Today in the Dugout, the truth comes out.
