RIDOC Inexplicably Slams the Door on Dr. Skoly
The Ocean State Current has obtained images of emails and what appears to be an internally dispersed document from the RI Department Of Corrections (RIDOC) throughout their facilities to notify staff that access privileges of one Dr. Stephen Skoly have been revoked, effective 2/11/22.
The Current has separately obtained a copy of the February 11 email.
If the images are authentic, specific questions must be asked:
1. Why did RIDOC feel it needed to send out such a notice, when Dr. Skoly has publicly stated that he will not violate the RI Department Of Health ban on seeing patients that was placed upon him last October 1?
2. Who, specifically, ordered the memo to be distributed?
