America’s Left has its own Mein Kampf

“80 years later, history may be repeating itself”

I was born on the eve of the America’s entry into World War II I remember the end of that war that propelled the United States to super power status. I have lived through the Fabulous 50s; the Soaring 60’s, Me Decade 70s; and the Excessive 80s. During the Vietnam era I was spat upon and called a baby killer as I walked in uniform to my car after a Memorial Day parade.

While in prison in 1925, Adolf Hitler wrote Mein Kampf (“My Struggle”) outlining how he would return Germany to power and create a Third Reich that would last 1,000 years. In the parliamentary election of 1933 his National Socialist Party (the “Nazis”) received  44% of the vote and the rest is history.

The Left in this country has its own Mein Kampf.

In 1966 Professors Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, husband and wife professors at Columbia University, outlined their plan to collapse capitalism, overwhelm the government bureaucracy and create a socialist system.

This involved using demonstrations and riots to alter the welfare and voting systems. In concert with ACORN this lead to an expansion of the 1965 Voting Rights Act of 1965 known as Motor Voter Registration Act signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1993.

ACORN’s tactics include registering as many democrat voters as possible, legal or otherwise, and help them vote multiple times if possible; overwhelm the system with fraudulent registration; and make the system difficult to police by lobbying for minimal identification standards.

In 1971, Saul Alinsky, whose disciples include Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton, published his “Rules for Radicals” seeking social change. He cites eight Levels of Control that must be obtained before a socialist state can be created:

Healthcare: Control healthcare and you control the people. Done Affordable Care Act a/k/a Obamacare

Poverty: Increase the poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control and will not resist if the state provides everything for them to live. Process underway.

Debt: Increase the debt to unsustainable level. That way taxes can be increased thereby more poverty can be produced. Done. Congress keeps increasing the “debt limit”.

Gun Control: Remove the ability of people to defend themselves from the government. This enables the creation of a police state. Attack on the Second Amendment in process.

Welfare: Take control of every aspect of recipients lives (food, housing, income and health care). Done. More than one in three Rhode Islanders receive some form of state aid.

Education: Take control of what people read and listen to. Attack the First Amendment. Take control of what children learn in school. In process. CRT; DEI, Transsexual appreciation day.

Religion: Remove belief in God from the government and schools. Done.

Class warfare: Divide the people between wealthy and the poor. Done. This causes more discontent and enables the taxation of the “rich” to support the “poor”.

I agree with Senator Marco Rubio who recently exclaimed that we “are committing societal suicide”.
